I'm 30 and live in Auckland, New Zealand. I'm an internet geek, a BMW enthusiast and a vegetarian. I love building web sites, reading, writing and learning.
By day I work at Mighty Ape, an online shopping site in New Zealand. We sell entertainment products including games, movies, books, music, toys and electronics. My primary responsibility is to ensure our web site delivers a world-class online shopping experience for our customers. I also help with strategy, marketing, social media and customer service. Mighty Ape has a great team and was voted New Zealand's "Best Shopping Site" at the 2009 and 2011 NetGuide Web Awards.
Before Mighty Ape I co-founded Zillion with Simon Barton. The business was sold to Sella in 2010. I also founded and continue to run nzflatmates, a site I built back in 2001 to help New Zealanders find better flats and flatmates. The site received a major upgrade in 2012 and keeps me busy when I'm not doing my day job. I also sing for Auckland-based chamber choir Musica Sacra. When I grow up I want to move to Lake Como and write a novel.
